That's not new. That's been out there before.
True — though he remained on our roster after the absence of candor was evident. The parting was prompted by the social media aggressiveness toward one of his accusers.

One gets the sense that the Pats are convinced this never truly would end, that if he were added to the roster this week, there would be another episode of nonsense next week.

Kiiiiind of a tease as I read that tweet and then scrolled to see Reiss's response. I experienced in that five seconds the gamut of excited to disappointed to self-disgust.

I like the Gronk bit at the end. Well done.

Honestly, given the O struggles IF Rk and BB signed off I would like to have him back on the team. The players seem to want him back.

I wonder if it boils down to $$ at this point. AB probably wants his full contract honored, since he'll win in arbitration anyway. Kraft probably doesn't want to pay for the games he missed.

It's a little strange that the league has apparently done nothing for quite awhile now. Scumbag or not, he should get his due process.

Absolutely zero chance he wrote that. The samples of his "writing" in the past would lead one to believe he couldn't even put together a coherent sentence.

I hope the sentiment is his, but just zero chance that's his writing.

So many of the Pats players, including TB12, keep liking his stuff on IG. Have to believe they'd at least welcome him back.

I will forever believe that some of Brady’s 2019 surliness is related to Kraft kicking AB to the curb. He really, REALLY wanted him here.

AB will just undo this within 3 days by "liking", retweeting or putting something on IG that disparages Kraft again.

Nice apology. This comes less than a week after posting an instagram story telling Kraft to swallow his pride while commenting how Kraft had fingers up his ass at the spa.

Due for another outburst after this apology doesn't work, I'd guess.

Edit: Beaten by Rusty. I agree with him.

People write differently in casual texts and tweets than they do when they are actually putting thought into something.

Does the league "do anything" to/about players who aren't in the league? I'm probably missing someone obvious, but I'm not recalling a player who gets released, then disciplined by the league.

The NFL suspends free agents all the time. A quick google search pulled up 4 free agents who were suspended this year alone. Max McCaffrey was suspended for 10 games about 10 days ago.

Antonio Brown is a free agent. From a football perspective, I'm sure there are teams that would want to sign him. However, there is a significant cloud of doubt that any team that did sign him would be able to put him on the football field - because the league at that point might suspend him. That inhibits his ability to find employment.

Personally, I think the league should just make a decision after their investigation. If they want to suspend him for a few games, the season, or next season, or life - whatever it is, they should just make that decision and own it. This "limbo" state doesn't seem very fair - and I realize no one is crying crocodile tears over this guy. I realize he's somewhere between insane and a criminal. But, even those who are both get due process.

I normally don't care for the conspiracy media circus stuff, but I have to believe this + whatever happened with Josh Gordon has actually upset Brady and others on the team.
