Actually, if you combined the AL shirts and the NL pants, then you'd have a uniform that wasn't that hideous.

Speaking of steak, Barnes owes Walsh a steak dinner and at least 2 glasses of Opus One.

Oh I see , Babe Ruth hit the #1 homer in AS history so if Ohtani had hit #200 Buck would have ejaculated in the booth.

The All Star Game rivaled the Super Bowl and WS in my childhood. The Fred Lynn granny in ‘83 was an enormous moment in my youth.
Curt gowdy left speechless by Reggie nearly putting it out of tiger stadium in 71 stuck with me.

Everyone complaining about how the ASG doesn't feel special because of ILP sounds 1,000 years old. The game was entertaining and perfectly fine tonight and all the players played hard. We don't need a gimmick incentive to make it better.

Some would say that the gimmick is ILP, but I guess that makes us sound 1000 years old.

Then again, there was also Ray Fosse. Maybe a lower temperature on this thing isn’t the worst thing.

Interleague play is worth undermining the AS game’s gravitas. I also couldn’t take more series against Baltimore, in Oakland, etc.

But that was simply Pete rose being Pete rose, nothing more.
The MLB ASG is still the one that most resembles the game that's played the rest of the year, for better or worse.
