Erasmo Ramirez becomes the first Rays starting pitcher to record a win (in their 11th game).

Love Vin and all but that last one was a bit pothead-at-a-keg-party for me.
Yeah, it seems like he is piling up a bunch of evidence about all the elements that have 13 units in them as if they do not all go back to the first item on his list: the original colonies.

Still wish I could watch him on TV without some sort of VPN work-around. Grumble grumble fuck Time Warner and fuck the Dodgers.

Blue Jays and the O's tied at 3 in the bottom of the 10th. Let's play 10 more!

Looks like Detroit stuck it out. A lot of games coming down to the wire tonight.

Kershaw just whipped out a 46mph eephus against Tyler Flowers.

Haven't seen anyone toss one since Padilla.

Carlos Carrasco carried off the field with some sort of leg injury after he got hurt trying to cover first base. He was not putting any weight on the left leg.

Edit: And now Tigers' starter Shane Greene leaves the same game with a blister problem a half inning later in the 4th.

PH HR for Harper in the 9th. Absolutely insane.

“@MarkZuckerman: Harper has homered once in every 6.9 ABs so far this season. Bonds did it once every 6.5 ABs when he hit 73 in 2001.”
“@JamesWagnerWP: Harper has nine homers in 18 games (17 starts). He also has as many homers as strikeouts (9).”

Nats-Twins in the 16th I love crazy long baseball games.
Prolonged by a crazy play.

Man on 1st, 2 outs, pitcher has to hit because the Nats are out of position players.
Twins skipper made an unexplicable pitching change.

Pitcher then bunts! (Two outs). Throw is mishandled by the catcher, 1B cannot get it, tying run comes in.

That was in the 15th inning after the Twins had taken the lead.

California. Duh.
The Dodgers led the Rockies 7-5 going into the bottom of the 8th at Coors. Rockies got 5 in the bottom of the 8th to take a 10-7 lead, then the Dodgers scored 5 in the top of the 9th to win it 12-10.

Someone check the humidor.

Prates-D-Backs might have been the craziest game in a normal month but with the Twins-Nats, it wasn't even craziest game of the day.

Blue Jays game ends with two on and two out and the go ahead run batting. High chopper off the plate and Tulo, running to second, tries to block Lawrie's view. Instead, his timing is wrong and he literally runs into the final out.

Kershaw is ridiculous tonight. Through 5 with 1 h, 8k, 0bb. The hit should have been caught by Crawford. Oh, and he's got a single and a double.

And Vin Scully is going to be missed.

Edit: I jinxed him. Fell apart in the 6th after getting drilled in the leg with a comebacker.
