My wife and I occasionally host house concerts, which is pretty much what it sounds like. We get a musical artist to come in and play in our living room. It's an incredibly unique experience for a live music lover...a very intimate setting and - the best part - no chatter during the music. We've had a number of local, national, and international artists play over the past few years.
Until now, we have only invited friends and family to these events, but this cause seemed like a great opportunity for us to open it up to the SoSH community.
You're bidding on 2 spots on the guest list to see swampy Americana duo Muddy Ruckus. The concert is Saturday, April 20th. Music starts around 7:30, but we invite people to arrive earlier to enjoy a pretty big spread of food, beverages, and sweets before the show. The location is the Worcester, MA area - with the exact address provided to the winning bidder.
We ask for a $15 donation per person at the door for these things, so let's start the bidding at $20 to get things going.
