I'm fine with everything, and any sport, so it makes no difference to me as Chrome is one of my 2-3 favorite products across the board, but I remember some folks didn't love it the first time around, because it's basically all college players/prospects, 90% of which most folks have never heard of....

Do we have any idea what the cost difference would be between Bowman Chrome and Museum Collection? What about Topps Chrome, didn’t that come out recently?

Break cost would be roughly similar between Topps Chrome and Bowman Chrome. Both are beautiful sets. Bowman, of course, is prospect-heavy. I'm seeing cards of Sox prospects I'm not familiar with, never mind the rest of the league. Of course, that's where the fun/value is with Bowman.

Museum is a "hit only" product, so cost would be dependent on how many hits we want (4 cards per box at a cost of about $375/box)

We've done cases of single product before, but we can look at half cases, mixers of a couple of different products, etc.

Here's a quick breakdown of the products mentioned. All prices from blowoutcards.com, since they are usually competitive and have product in stock:

Topps Chrome
Hobby Box Case: $2,349
12 boxes/case; 24 packs/box, 4 cards/pack (2 autos/box)
Case = 1,152 cards with 24 autos

Bowman Chrome
Hobby Box Case: $2,649
12 boxes/case; 12 packs/box, 5 cards/pack
Case = 720 cards with 24 autos

Museum Collection
$375/box
Box = 4 cards (1 auto relic, 1 on card auto, 1 quad relic, 1 relic)

I'd be in for either Topps or Bowman Chrome, or even a 50/50 mix of the two.

I would pass on Museum personally.

I think this is where I'm at, but don't hold me to the 2nd sentence.

I need to spend some time looking at the Bowman Chrome checklist to see how best to split the teams, etc.

Maybe a Bowman Chrome main break and a smaller, separate break for Museum for anyone interested. More info to come.

Might be fun to add 1 or 2 boxes of the HTA to a case of Hobby boxes.

I opened a box of Bowman Chrome tonight. Nice stuff, but as per usual, no big hits (Although I did get 3 Autos instead of 2).

same. I got an Aldo Ramirez auto and another for the Indians #24 prospect. Crazy to spend like $200+ for 50 cards that end up being worth like $20. But it’s addictive. Ready to buy another!

Hey - quick update: life got in the way a little bit with some recent health issues for my sister and mom. I just got back from seeing them in CT.

I'm going to plan my next break after the Sox postseason. I'll post here and start a new thread at that time.

Hope all is well, man. Real life should be your top priority. We’ll all still be here when things slow down for you.
