Don’t look now boys but Syracuse, yup Syracuse, is 3-0 after manhandling FSU today. This season is becoming very interesting. That game on Thanksgiving weekend just might have a hell of a lot riding on it....for both teams. Great to see the turnaround at both places. Unfortunately we have to contend with Clemson, but the rest of the division as well as the conference is wide wide open.
Cuse on Thanksgiving weekend. What could possibly go wrong?

This could be the lightning in the bottle season we have all talked about over the years. Everyone but Clemson, in the division, is down. Everybody in the Coastal is beatable, including VaTech.

Look, let’s not get ahead of ourselves, as they have only 1 “real” win so far. But they are a well built team, are getting the attention nationally, and they could have something special here. My point is they could go anywhere from 7-5 to 11-1 IMHO. If Clemson makes the playoff again, and BC goes 11-1, they will get a NY6 bowl consideration, if not a bid. Time to start paying attention to these guys. Next up, winless Purdue. They should win but it’s a road game against an unknown and desperate opponent. This will be a tough game. But I think they pull it out.

if you were wondering why no words of wisdumb from me the past two weeks, missed Cross playing in Cape Cod Senior Softball Classic that weekend and since i 'retired' last year I've been doing god's work a few nights a week, selling the hot soccer moms in their spandex of Norwell all the wine they can handle, ok its working in a packie...
I worked Thursday night and we have a TV in the store,so i was able to watch much of it. My co-worker asked me when we were up by 14 late in the game why I was still pacing and standing infront of the TV, I said I've seen Adazio fuck up easier games.

I DVR'd it and have watched the 1st half so far, that muff is on Walker, but he is still a good returner but WTF with the bad snaps on specials??

I think Purdue is going to be tougher test then the everyday 0-3 (ie: SUNJ) team. I hope the secondery stops reading their press clips and realize this O can light them up

Northwestern had good success against Purdue running the ball; and they don't have a Dillon. Wonder if Purdue's secondary is as overmatched vs BC as WF was; you'd expect a lot of single coverage again.

We are definitely getting more press this year than any year since 2007. The stakes are really high for Daz these next few months.

Today’s game makes me nervous. Have to clean up the special teams and start strong. Purdue can move the ball and their record is misleading with close losses.

Took less than 2 minutes until the first big special teams miscue, so that's going well

I was feeling an L all week. It’s a game that a team that has truly turned a corner wins. But you can only go so far with a loser like Daz.

ref crew is a disaster, 2 inadvertent whistles before the td, plus an incorrect flag, not even counting whether moores knee was down or not

BC is getting screwed big time by the refs

Also really disagree with the Daz hate in this thread -

For a program like BC and what he started with, I think he has done a fine job
For a program like BC? What does that even mean? He hasn’t even come close to reaching what even TOB accomplished let alone Coughlin or Jags. He deserves some credit for getting the team out of the Spaz mess. But we’re also in Year, what, 7?

Hey, if 7 wins and a shit bowl (loss) is what makes you happy, Daz is absolutely a great fit.

Embarrassing on both sides of the ball at this point. Purdue is obviously much better than their record but the people who voted BC into the top 25 looks pretty foolish right about now.

The play calling has been bad but a lot of this is the result of BC losing the battles in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

daz not using a timeout before that punt is coaching incredibly scared when you're down 2 tds already

Defense has been ok with some lapses. The offense had 5 three and outs. That’s ridiculous.

Until the last drive did they throw on first down? I know Dillon is all world but when a team loads the box you have to loosen them up!!

Of course not, Daz is too good of a sport to try to catch the defense by surprise.

Well....lots of adjustments need to be made on both sides of the ball. Purdue clearly wants to take Dillon out the game ( check) and make Brown best them with his arm (he isn’t.). On O Purdue is challenging the DBs and are winning that battle.

This is really, really bad. No more bouncing the ball outside. They can’t kick it out there. Purdue has shut that down. Play action, short passes over the middle to Sweeney and Dillon in the gut. Up tempo and wear down the D. On defense, they need to penetrate and force the QB to get rid of the ball. Don’t allow the plays to develop. And pay the refs $1 more than Purdue is paying to get some favorable calls.

They threw to dillon for -2 on the 2nd to last drive first play. They got 3 yards or less on 1st down on every drive except the td drive, recipe for disaster with this team

.....and 30-7. I think, based on how this game is going, that it pretty much seals it. The D ain’t stopping Purdue and the O can’t get on track.

Good bye Top 25, Good bye delusions of a 10-2 or better season. Looking more like the BC teams we have seen the last few years, an OK but not great “team” with good and some great athletes but unable to put it all together consistently against better P5 opponents. Looking more like a 7-5 team. And if they go 7-5, then I think Daz needs to go as that will be the high water mark with him no matter who he recruits to the program.
