Saturday opening game against an ACC opponent over Labor Day weekend suuuuuuucks. Could be 6-0 heading into NC State. But I imagine we'll blow one of the Wake or VTech games because Daz.
I don't mind it, students are already on campus for a week, having more games/tailgates when it's warm is good. Should be decent energy for that one.

I'm all for keeping tax revenue in Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties, rather than Barnstable, so these people should think about staying. Plus, the majority of P5 schools play at home that weekend. Let's try to be big-time.
Having games on a weekend when many people are actively trying to escape Boston is not good, temperature be damned.
But the best part of the schedule, all SATURDAY GAMES. No more Thursday/Friday BS

Bandana game should be October 19th v. NC State.

They better start off fast and come into NC State with at least 5 wins. I don’t see a win on the schedule after NC State. The way this is set up, 6-6 looks like it might be a struggle. Replacing 13 starters is going to be tough thing. Only good part is that there are 2 Bye weeks so it gives them a chance to heal up.

BTW, I guess Syracuse is not a “rival”. Second time in about 3 years the Cuse game is not the season ender. Do we have a rival in the conference? I guess not.

Yeah, it appeared as if Syracuse was going to be a nice end-of-season traditional game to replace Holy Cross (which, obviously, had to be replaced, no argument with that) from 30+ years ago, finally. Why mess around with that?

The Kansas game was just moved to Friday, which stinks because it’s a game I was likely going to attend. There are a lot of Eagles and Jayhawks in my extended family.

Kansas is being designated the Red Bandanna game; it's a big PR thing for the school. Apparently it works out better if they know ahead of time what the game time will be; and on a Friday night they pretty much do.
