How come it's never the good pitchers that become pitching coaches, it's always the #5 starters?

Impecable logic.

But when I see Pedro do analysis on MLB Network I wish he was the pitching coach for the Sox.
Doesn’t he do some Spring Training work? I mean, when a guy like that talks, you really want to listen.

When was the last time a Rays pitcher threw that many pitches in a game? Glasnow is done.

In 11 starts during the season, Glasnow threw more than 96 pitches twice: 102 and 105. (And over 88 only four times.)
