Zac Rinaldo isn't worth the dogshit on my shoes, let alone a 3rd rounder.

He's in my top 5 most despised players in the league. This makes no sense. He's useless in today's league

A 3rd rounder!? For a guy who is a scumbag and useless. Why oh why can't the Bruins evolve instead of this tough guy garbage. I'm sick of this shit.

Do the Bruins have to pay people while they're suspended? Could be a cost saving move.

Plus there's this really awesome writeup on him from January.

Rinaldo has 905 minutes in penalty and suspension time in his NHL career. He has 1,592 minutes of time on ice. Suspend him just 12 more games and he'll have spent more time being disciplined by the NHL than playing in it.

He probably won't quite get 12 games for the hit on Letang last night, but he's getting an in-person hearing with the Department of Player Safety, so he's likely to get more than five and given his status as a repeat offender, could push towards a double-digit suspension.

After four years, we know what kind of player Zac Rinaldo is. He's not an effective skill player, and he can't keep himself under control enough to be an effective agitator. And he clearly doesn't give a shit when he injures an opposing player. He's an embarrassment to the Flyers and to the NHL, and that'll be the case as long as he's in the league. Hopefully it's not much longer.

Why not just sign John Scott instead if you want a useless shithead?

It's like watching the Knicks where every move is so obviously stupid when made.

Right about there
:barf:
An agitating d-bag that hasn't shown the discipline or talent to be a useful component in today's hockey.  I thought the Bruins were moving away from this.

I'm at a loss with what Sweeney/Neely are doing here.  The only hope is that Rinaldo takes this as some kind of wake-up call.

I really think they're trying to build a team straight out of 1990, the team that both Sweeney and Neely played on. Of course, that was 25 years ago and they don't play on the smaller ice size of the old Garden any more and the league has changed entirely and lack of speed will kill you in this game and instead they're just trying to get tough and everything sucks.

Who's next Matt Cooke?  2 more years at $850 per.  I fucking hate that guy and putting him in black and gold won't change that.  Plus they traded a 3rd round pick for a guy that should be a healthy scratch 70 out of 82 games.

Maybe Neely is trying to sink the value of the franchise low enough that he can pull a Lemiuex and buy controlling interest with some partners.

It's like they're intentionally driving people away from this team.  Holy crap why not sign Cooke while you're at it?

Well, in fairness, the guy most teams would pick with that 3rd rounder the Bruins will have already taken in the first round, so we're actually only dealing like a 6th rounder.

Honestly, if this was a fantasy league, the Bruins would be kicked out by now.

Andy Brickley's potty mouth
I wonder if the Flyers called after the shitshow at the draft thinking "haha we'll call the Bruins and see if they'll give a 3rd rounder for this guy" and when they asked for a 2016 3rd rounder Sweeney said "are you fucking crazy, that's ridiculous. I'm not paying that much. I'll give you a 2017 3rd rounder." The Flyers are laughing hysterically right now. This guy could have been had for a 6th rounder probably (not that they should have traded for him in the first place).

The Bruins are officially the laughingstock of the NHL right now.

Well, I wanted Chiarelli gone, and now I'm regretting it like crazy. Also Ray Shero could have done 10 million times better tha this. Hell, I think most of us diehards could do way better than this as the GM, and that is not a joke whatsoever.
