He's signed through next year. I can't really complain about the goaltending situation - 12.2% of the cap spent (likely less %-wise next year) on the 3rd-4th best goaltending tandem in the league by GAA/sv%.

Halak is a big step up from the Niklas Svedberg / Chad Johnsons of years past
Ah, thanks. I thought he was only here on a one-year deal.

This and the Acciari instigator... Tim Peel at his finest, it's a shame he's not one of the crew retiring.
I actually didn't have a problem with the Acciari instigator. Acciari dropped his gloves and chased after him to start the fight, I thought they kind of had to give it.
The DeBrusk "call", on the other hand? Woof.

I should've clarified - I'd be OK with the Acciari instigator if they gave Witkowski 2 for boarding, given the proximity of Nordström to the boards.

I thought it was more charging than boarding, to be honest.

I will accept the friendly amendment from the good gentleman.

I kind of think the interference call right after was there way of saying "yeah, we missed that". Wasn't much there.
