You are not given anything of worth in this life. The things that matter you earn through hard work and sheer cold blooded determination. You take the task at hand, and you grab it by the trachea and squeeze until you hear a crunch. You look it in the eye and punch it in the face until it wets itself at the sight of you. You must take it from them. Take this from them again.

Just win.

Big Bruins game and the first Red Sox game of the season that I can watch.  Can't ask for anything more to help me get through a mid-week workday.  Tick...Tick...Tick...

Just win tonight and tomorrow night, enjoy one (virtually) meaningless game on Saturday and let the other teams sort themselves out in the meantime.

It makes me kind of nervous that Braden Holtby might stand between the Bruins and the playoffs. F that guy.

Just for those who may not know, the Bruins still would control their own destiny if they lose in regulation tonight.

Washington has clinched, so are we sure that Holtby will get the start?  If I'm Washington, I'd rather see the Bs make it than Ottawa.

Washington has clinched but still have a lot of incentive to win so I'd expect Holtby and their A game. They're 2nd in the Metro so winning means better shot at home ice and hosting the free falling Isles or Penguins. Losing could drop them out of home ice and into a Wild Card and drawing NYR/Montreal/Tampa Bay.

That's a good point, but they have to balance that against the risk that Holtby gets hurt against a Boston team that (likely) will be flying all night long coupled with the need, if any, to get him some rest (he's appeared in 71 games).

If they can take down the mighty Holtby, there will be no stopping them.  They will win out between now and their raising of the Cup!

Hopefully we win when Holtby over exaggerates a glove save and whips the puck into his own net.

I find this so incredibly annoying. Almost as annoying as when Ovechkin celebrates a meaningless goal like a fucking idiot when down 3 or 4 late in the 3rd

Charter people from Central MA, are any of you get NBCSN 767 in HD? It hasn't been in HD for days here. I called them up told them about this on Sunday. Told them I could see other complaints in the area on twitter and they continue to claim I am the only one reporting the problem and they can't trust tweets. I feel like a crazy person at this point. Could someone please reply one way another if you have Charter whether or not you are getting the channel in HD?  Thanks

It really burns my ass that we have to listen to these two knobs for such a big game.  I guess that's what the beer is for tho.

Ok so I switched the way SD channels are shown to stretch and NBCSN is now in HD. All the SD channels look like crap, but who cares I don't watch SD channels. Hope this helps someone since I just spent forever on the phone with Charter to try and solve the problem and I just sort of figured out a solution on my own.

Bruins had great sustained pressure and turned it into a 1 goal deficit. That gets old.

Wasn't that arguably interference on Lucic on the goal

It was, and while I'm not surprised they let it go, the problem was that with Lucic down, Krecji thought he should drift aimlessly in that direction and forget the backside D.

It's a man's game tonight says Claude.
Wonder if they boys didn't get their nap today. Must not have had the right ice cream treat.

Bruins are getting outclassed right now.
This is what happens when you play a legit playoff team.
Outclassed? Out tucking classed? I don't want any classy bullshit. I want fucking carnage. I want death destruction and mayhem. Maybe some goals, but most definitely sheer and total annihilation.

I piss on being down 2. Holtby is just fucking begging for us to score four goals on him.

My fever just hit 101.5. I'm taking up a collection to go cough on the Sens.
I'm also really fucking grumpy and this is not helping.
