It only matters if they win today. No fucking around, no excuses about blown out O-rings for your goalie, or that travel to Carolina wasn't ideal. Sack the fuck up, pop some Tums and take this game from them.

Just win.

Somebody check my math, but I believe with a win today and a regulation loss by Ottawa and/or Washington, the Bruins would again control their own fate.  (And they would do so with respect to each one of those two teams if they both suffer regulation losses.)  All three teams played yesterday, as did the teams they're playing, so no one has an excuse.

Love to see the Bs be this year's team that turns it on late, sneaks into the playoffs and does some damage when it gets there.

Man, Spooner's game is just miles ahead of where it's ever been. He's playing with confidence and his skill level is coming through now, this is great to see.

I have no idea how Loui scored 36 goals in a season when he can be so soft on his shots all the time.

Shot doesn't have to be too hard when you're within ten feet of the net. Most of his goals are scored from between the dots and in if I remember his charts correctly.

A confident Spooner is pretty awesome. Looks like a completely different player han the one that was scared shitless of making a mistake.

No, it's a left shot center to win the puck to the inside, a righty shooter, and a big net front guy to screen.

It's such a typical road matinee game so far. Just a big ball of meh.

Bruins fell apart at the end of that period. They need to come out and give it all they've got in the third. This game is huge for them.

No excuse for not getting two points out of this game. Have to have a great 20 minutes here.

They don't even need a great 20. Carolina sucks. Just play 20 min of consistent, good hockey, and that should be enough.

Haha we think Bruins are overpaid, Semin is $7M AAV to give them 5 goals this year. Yikes.

If they can't beat the 66 point Canes when their season is on the line, I'm going to feel a little better about their failure to make the postseason. Guys, you can't win if you can't keep possession of the puck for more than four continuous seconds.
