If Ritchie doesn’t do anything there he’s get roasted for not responding.
Yeah you're role as the big bodied forward is to do just that. Refs continue to let Tampa board and you don't respond someone's going to the hospital. Good for Ritchie shitty by the stripes.

Nah. That’s a good go by him.
Your teammate gets boarded in a series the other team has been taking liberties every game, you try to engage.
When you’re in a pivotal game, losing, and playing against a PP that’s scoring for fun? Absolutely not. Especially engaging a piece of shit like Paquette- zero chance he drops them. It was a dumb play by Ritchie given the circumstances.

Great period by Halak. Cassidy switched Pasta and Kase at the end there to change things up. Lets even it up on the PP with fresh ice.

Praising Tampa for responding to stick poke but have to be careful after the ref called Ritchie? Ritchie was more justified.

At some point you need to stand up for your teammates who are getting taken out.
They’ve been doing that. I’m 100% for this mentality...I’ve gotten my ass handed to me before for sticking up for bad hits. But given the circumstances I outlined, it was a bad play there. Tampa goes up 2-0 on a PPG there and that might as well be the series imo.

Sure, but in the moment I’d rather see that response from Ritchie than letting that hit stand. It shows me they’re engaged and fighting for each other.

What is this between period bit praising TB? I was wondering when Cooper was going to bring up 'calling out the refs' as part of future game plans.

I don't know. I'm typically anti-responding, but Tampa's been running them all series. At some point enough is enough.

Tampa has been doing whatever they want to do with no intervention from the refs, it is infuriating.

Better possession at 5x5 (65%), but they only managed 1 scoring chance and allowed 6. Getting absolutely no offense. I think the only scoring chance was the Carlo one timer from the near half boards.

99 times out of 100 after hit and response like that both end up in the box. Ritchie has to respond there.

You know, great point- I hadn’t considered that Ritchie wouldn’t realize they blew that call. It seemed an obvious boarding

Little help, anyone watching this on YouTubetv?
I am, via Apple TV. Feed is super jumpy; more likely a YouTube, appletv or internet issue?
