Their three losses were a close game to BC , a two point loss to Stanford (yuck), and the inexplicable blowout loss to Pitt when McCord threw five interceptions, three of which were pick sixes. What a home run hire Fran Brown has been.
Just awful careless play. The needless throw that got picked 6ed and the fumble. Can't do that in big games like this.Ewers needs to get his shit together in the RZ
I interpreted that as the knee hitting is the ‘start’ and thus the spot. and not where the QB slides to a stop 3-5 yards later. But just going into the motion is not the ‘start.’A QB is down when he starts the slide, right? If so Ewers should’ve been ruled down.
It's ridiculous. They should have to sit out the entire possessionAfter every play an aggy is down. This had to be penalties
Do you work for the Mannings? You’ve been all over Ewers since he walked onto the field. They need to get Arch into this game. Ewers totally screwed this game up.
No I don't work for the Mannings. Ewers made two very careless red zone plays that put A&M back in this game. Two easy Texas FG's and the game is over.Do you work for the Mannings? You’ve been all over Ewers since he walked onto the field.
I don’t think Ewers had his punt blocked
Tongue in cheek. Tho a manning PR agent would never admit it!No I don't work for the Mannings. Ewers made two very careless red zone plays that put A&M back in this game. Two easy Texas FG's and the game is over.
If Texas wins and advances they will not win a championship with Ewers. They will be lucky to get by Georgia.Tongue in cheek. Tho a manning PR agent would never admit it!
I’m here to helpI was way too tense to post during that game but once canderson said we’d lose I knew it was over.
WHEW!!!!
This is not time to wait for good Ewers to show up.UT’s defense is legit but they need “good” Ewers to show up.
They had a 13 year head start and couldn't do what Texas did in 5 months. Texas 8-4 always and foreverTexas made an SEC champ game before A&M did.
Same for the Michigan game. His prediction of a 30-point (40-point?) win screamed upset lolI was way too tense to post during that game but once canderson said we’d lose I knew it was over.
WHEW!!!!
Since as far back as. . . .last week.Easily one of the craziest days of CFB in awhile.
I didn't see it, but I'm sure it's UH's hand sign.Is anyone watching this BYU / Houston game? Is that the shocker symbol on Houston's QB's chin strap? I assume it is claiming to be something else? Anyone know what?
The hand sign for the University of Houston (UH) is the "Cougar sign," which is made by folding the ring finger and thumb of the right hand toward the palm. The sign originated in 1953 when Shasta I, the UH mascot, lost a toe in a cage door while traveling to a game. The opposing team, the University of Texas, mocked the injury by making the sign during the game. UH students adopted the sign as a symbol of pride and perseverance.
Same record, Bama beat SC head-to-head.I think SC is in before them perhaps. If Bama is in the team playing them has a great draw.
Bama will be in because of what I said up above about brand and ratings. Let’s not fool ourselves into thinking any of this will be truly on some sense of merit before the games are played.Same record, Bama beat SC head-to-head.
I think they’re both out, but if it’s down to the two of them for the 12th spot, Bama will get the nod.
Thank you AF!I didn't see it, but I'm sure it's UH's hand sign.
Here's Google AI's explanation:
If it was based on merit, Bama would be in as the 4th-best SEC team, along with 4 B1G teams, Notre Dame, Boise State, and the ACC and B12 champions. But we’re getting at least two ACC teams, possibly three. Bama is the first casualty of that. (Indiana could be the second if Clemson beats SMU narrowly or in controversial fashion, but I think Indiana probably gets the nod over SMU in that case.)Bama will be in because of what I said up above about brand and ratings. I have no idea what you are using as “merit”. In a world of unbalanced schedules and over expansion records should be the determining factor. You somehow think the SEC is the best conference and I think it’s an average conference with a bunch of above average teams that have beaten each other. If it was based on merit, Bama would be in as the 4th-best SEC team, along with 4 B1G teams, Notre Dame, Boise State, and the ACC and B12 champions. If 3 loss teams are out and the ACC only deserves one, who the heck is getting in?I have no idea what you are using as “merit”. You are speaking with waaay too much definitiveness about merit here. From my perspective at some point losses matter and you lose 3 games and you’re out. ACC deserves one team this year.
I agree — the ACC deserves one team. Clemson and SMU should be playing for that spot. Miami should be out.I have no idea what you are using as “merit”.
