I understand your point and I remember the days when it was NYC RAI and grainy Serie A matches. That said, now that we're paying crazy fees for sports channels on our cable bills, you'd expect a few matches for free. I read an article in Forbes that estimated on an average $100 cable bill that $40-50 of that was for sports. If that's the case, why put it behind a paywall? My cable company doesn't give me either CBSSN or Univision Desportes in my tier (one is in a Sports Plus tier and the other is Spanish language tier) and I still pay a ton. Throw me a bone and give me one free game or at least put the final on the mothership. Especially when it's competing with cornhole at this point.
