This auction is for an original framed pastel drawing of Pedro Martinez, the money raised by its sale will go to the Chelsea Favreau Scholarship Fund. Chelsea, who was the daughter of SoSHers Jamie and Kristine, was killed in tragic drunk driving accident last January. The scholarship fund in her name will provide financial assistance to a young person who, like Chelsea, is passionate about animals, helping people in crisis, and going into a field of study after high school (at a community college, 2-year or 4-year college, or trade school) to further their education or career. Bidding begins now and ends at 9:00pm EST on January 12, 2018, which would have been Chelsea's 22nd birthday.

Drawing by Kevin McNeil (The Allented Mr Ripley).

Title: The Staredown

I don’t have the $$$ to outbid Soxjox at this time but have to laud you all. This is really appealing. When I get in front of my computer I’ll commit a c-note to the other thread.

Rip’s a real gent and humble too. Asking a minimum bid of $100 for that drawing on this site.

Schwartz went straight to the triple dog dare on that one.

As an owner of two of Rip's pieces of artwork, I highly recommend bidding on this. His Pedro oil painting that I got through another auction here gets lots of praise when I have visitors at the house. Besides, you can't go wrong owning anything that contains Pedro's likeness.
