One was a drop that would only have gained a couple of yards and the other was Brady’s only bad throw of the drive.
Yeah the offensive strategy of “run twice into the line for minimal gain, ask the GOAT to bail you out on 3rd” seems to be working beautifully
Can't remember who it was, but on one of the shows this week, a former player was suggesting a play or two with Scotty Miller lined up in the backfield ... if nothing else to give the appearance of another pass-catching threat
Yeah, gotta cut down on the obvious first down runs and incorporate play action, which was key to their transformation as an offense since their bye. Still, to come up with a TD on that drive without doing what you did best on your best offensive stretch is encouraging for them.
I really don’t understand why TB just doesn’t go with Jones. He’s so much better than Fournette.
I remember week 1 thinking the Pats had the better QB this season. How times have changed.
pretty sure Jones has a bum hamstring or calf, so he’s been used cautiously early on
And though Jones is more athletically gifted than Fournette, he does make some dumb plays at times. But still...much more of a game breaker.
