For you kids who have only seen the highlights, Bo Jackson was the most electrifying athlete of my lifetime. The dude was a beast and unstoppable in real life as well as on Tecmo Bowl. And one freak play ended all that. I hope this isn't the case with a kid like Tua whose career hasn't even begun yet.

Does Tua still go in the top 5 in the draft? Similar to Bo’s injury but circumstances are different and Surgery is immediate.

Amen to that. Best athlete I've ever seen. A force of nature. Not a 'Bama fan, but I'm sick about the injury to Tua, if it's the same thing as Bo, there's a not insignificant chance he never plays again. Just awful. I'm no fan of Saban, but some of the reactions here are a bit over the top. I have no problem with him playing today, and suspect he would have been pulled in the second half. This is just horrendous luck. As for his attitude in the interview, breaking news, Nick Saban is a brusque, cold, dick with the media. I strongly suspect that off-camera, behind the scenes, he's distraught about it.

I know I am the only person watching, but the broadcast quality of Harvard v. Penn on NESN is atrocious. Bad camera work, ignorant broadcasters, just plain bad.
I was also watching, and it’s par for the course for the sixth-rate crews assigned to shoot Ivy games. Two weeks ago the cameras totally missed Dartmouth’s amazing Hail Mary game winner, and this week they mostly missed the Penn TD pass (and great catch) that sealed the game.

Harvard’s gonna get rolled in The Game next week. Worst Harvard team in a loooooong time.

That is such a bad break for Tua and Saban should be drawn and quartered for pushing him out there when he wasn't fully ready, especially in a blowout. Saban is absolutely wrong here and he might have just ended Tua's career. What a monster.

By the way Gary Danielson and the producers should be beaten with wet fish for how they handled the student photographer getting knocked out cold. Pretty funny!!11

Texas‘ regression is really something, great job Tom.
If you prefer ossification to regression, switch over to the Auburn-UGA game. Watch as calling the same 12 plays for 7 seasons somehow fails to surprise and confound talented opponents! Behold Andy Reid’s clock management without his offensive mind attached! Marvel as Bo Nix and the two SEC-caliber skill players on Auburn’s offense question their life choices and despair at their future prospects. The Gus Bus Fever - Catch It!

Auburn’d score 24+ on this Texas team and hold them to 10.

What a huge potentially season changing drop there for Minny.

And then Fleck loses control and picks up a PF on himself

P.J. Fleck is a bonehead and just cost his team a very lucky break.
TV hasn't discussed yet, but I assume that as it was a dead ball post play fould, it would have been a change of possession anyway, but honestly not sure

Minny has had a ton of chances. And wow mishandling the clock to an amazing degree you wouldn't expect from a veteran team

ANd now they miss the extra point.

And Minny loses. Had a ton of chances, but really failed over and over to make plays, and honestly played really dumb football at times

Was he wrong to put Tua on the field last week? I don’t see how last week can be okay if he’s a monster for giving him the ball today.

Baylor absolutely pummeling Oklahoma. Wonder what the selection committee will think of that.

Edit: Lol at all three of us making this point simultaneously, when it’s been building for like an hour.

Just tuning in, is this as much of a trip to the woodshed as it appears? Always skeptical of Boomers lack of physicality and defense.

It’s been a few big plays rather than sustained physical dominance, but of course you don’t build a 28-3 lead without winning in the trenches. The pressure on Hurts has been impressive.

Yes, just based on what I’ve seen, Baylor’s D is for real. Fast and physical, really flying around.

I hate that Baylor even still has a football program, but maybe them jumping into the Top 10 will bring some focus on their recent history, so go Baylor I guess?
