Saturday's primetime slate is pretty terrible.
Yeah, it’s very unbalanced — Iowa-Mich at noon and a robust slate of late afternoon games, but nothing worth watching in the evening (Eastern time) unless MSU surprises.

Then again, I didn’t have A&M-Arkansas on my radar heading into last weekend, and that turned out to be one of the best games I’ve seen in a while, so maybe one of the ho-hum games will come through.

I forgot to check in on the UCF game last night... they fell to 4-2 on the season after losing to a Cincinnati team that was beaten by OSU 42-0. Looks like people are going to have to find a new Cinderella team to champion.

Michigan and Iowa are putting on a clinic on how not to run an offense. The Hawkeyes have done everything wrong today but only trail by a touchdown.

Just when Iowa had a chance to make the last 5 minutes interesting they pick up 4 flags on 5 snaps and are now punting on 4th & 36. Neither of these teams is worthy of the top 20.

Gus Malzahn looks like the kind of coach that doesn't even know the names of his defensive players...Good job um Number 5!!

It's one game, but Justin Herbert does not look like the top pick in the draft tonight, that's for sure.

SMU rallies from down 30-9 in the 4th Quarter to beat Tulsa 43-37 in 3OT. First 6-0 start for SMU since 1982 in the days of the Pony Express with Eric Dickerson and Craig James.

And down goes Washington to Stanford at the Farm 23-13. The story of this game is that the Cardinal outplayed the Huskies in the trenches. Cameron Scarlett played David Shaw football, running 33 times for 151 yards and a score with several runs generating yards after a defender was on him. It was impressive, smash mouth running.

Washington, on the other hand, is going to have some painful film time looking at Jacob Eason running for his life.

The Pac 12 is a hot mess this year in that most teams are good enough to beat one another but nobody is really elite.
