You're not going to believe this, but I feel really bad for O'Connor, he had as Dog said a Buckner moment for the ages, but reading Buckleys column was a stand up guy after and answered all questions..., now back to what you'd expect from me:

SUX 2 BU

The best championship runs are the ones that come out of nowhere.
Excellent point and they earned it- beat the best teams. I thought BU would roll them but PC took their best punches and survived. What a great story.

Me, I'm bitter over 2015.  PC was gifted with an unfair draw that gave it home ice, while other better East teams (Quinnipiac and Harvard) had to go west to get eliminated.

Love my Friars, that's my hometown team, but I can't celebrate this one.

Nobody bitched more loudly in this thread than I did about the absurdity of the seeding, but the bottom line is that playing on home ice isn't what enabled them to beat Miami. That win came at the hands of impressive physical play and total dictation of tempo that left the Redhawks totally discombobulated until they pulled their goalie for an eight-and-a-half-minute desperation power play.

It certainly wasn't a factor in their domination of Denver. It had nothing whatsoever to do with their decisive victory over Nebraska-Omaha, nor the title game win over BU. The players still had to hit, skate, pass, score, block shots and make saves. The O'Connor muff notwithstanding, PC played four superb games over a two-week stretch.

So enough with the "I can't celebrate this" nonsense. Go have a fucking beer and toast your fucking team.

I figured we'd get a Belfast tournament before long with what Walsh said last fall, but I didn't expect it to be this fast.

Not sure if I want Northeastern to do this or not. Hmmm...
I don't want NU doing it if we have games the following weekend. I would expect there to be some lingering effects from the jet lag.

I heard a rumor floating around that the Belfast tourney against UML would be for HE points which would be ridiculous.

That would be a terrible idea. The only way something on a neutral site should be for league points is if both games against that opponent are neutral-site.

Still can't believe that happened. Fluke goal for sure but the Friars played tough, hung in there and took advantage of the break they got.

Pretty sure the Colgate-Brown game will count as an ECAC game, so this wouldn't surprise me.
This is ridiculous. Especially since NU is (supposedly) the team that loses a home game.
