Combining downloaded podcast episodes from multiple Apple devices?

I have multiple iPhones (5, 5S and SE) with a different set of podcast episodes downloaded. The context here is that I retired my old iPhones into glorified iTouch devices and continued listening to podcasts and downloaded episodes on the older device until it was close to running out of storage.
How can I combine the different sets of downloaded podcast episodes on a different device (Say, a new iPad mini)? Any thoughts?

I don’t think you even have to transfer it to the current phones internal drive, you should be able to upload from the SD card (assuming your current phone has an SD slot).

Can you just set whatever device it is to re-download them from the cloud? They’re going to have to transfer from somewhere anyway.

I'm trying to airdrop from my 5S to my SE and I get "Can't connect right now" on my SE. I don't know if getting a new device will work?

So, I have more bad news. It doesn't look like you can Airdrop downloaded episodes across devices. All Airdrop does for podcast episodes that remain on the podcast feed, and were not removed since it was originally downloaded, is that it will direct you to the episode. It does not download the episode to the other device (like it would if Airdropping pictures).

So, when I try to Airdrop podcast episodes that were removed from the feed, it can't - it appears that all it does is send the feed link between devices.

I've tried backing up one of the devices to my PC via iTunes, and restored the backup to a 6S, it doesn't appear to carry over any media files: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204136

Apple Support suggests that everything will be stuck on the original devices that they were downloaded

So, is there a legitimate 3rd party software that can transfer files from my iPhone to my PC?
