Yeah, saying he missed an opportunity isn't meant to say he should blamed as such. You're right about Green, though - someone (even in the production truck?) ought to be alive to that possibility, so that a) everyone isn't blind-sided by the play call, and b) Urban Meyer doesn't seem like he deserves praise for anything.
