It's Argentina. No matter what happens the rest of this game, even if we somehow pull it out, we will look outclassed, slower, lesser skilled.
This is true, but throwing out a lineup to minimize our class, speed, and skill was a loser from the beginning.

Other than Wondo this is probably the best to be done given the roster and suspensions. Could really have used players who didn't suck in place of Wondo and Kitchen though.

We are incapable of stringing together 3 passes.
Before that Bradley turnover that led to the fast break, I counted 5 in a row. Of course, each was a bad touch that put the receiving player and the rest of the team in a progressively worse position until Bradley coughed it up with two guys on him and no one back to cover.

Well, Pulisic and Nagbe couldn't play with any less composure. Not much to lose at this point.

Also why not play players in big games that we'll need next WC?
Yeah, if we're going to lose, might as well have some younger guys get reps under pressure against top-level competition.

Of course the sad answer is that Wondo will be our starting CF in Russia in two years.

Yeah, those weren't passes so much as panic touches that went towards someone else in white.

You need to be tight defensively against top teams. But you can't be so defensive that you can't possess the ball and/or attack. No one can absorb that much pressure for that long.

It's better to let Messi have that run in action than give him a free kick from there.

Right...
