McKenzie to Genk, no fee disclosed yet.
Belgium is a good destination for young players. It’s a competitive league that recruits widely and is scouted heavily by the Big 5. McKenzie will bring Genk’s nationality representation up to 13 countries. They’ve also sold 5 players for £10m+ - 2 of those for £20m+ - in the past 2 years. It’s going to be a lot of competition, but should be plenty of opportunity to get in the first team, too.
Edit - a little more digging shows that in the last 3 years, Genk has sent 4 players to Serie A, 3 to the EPL, 2 to Bundesliga, and 1 to La Liga. Three of those Serie A transfers were to Atalanta...having an American there would be a ton of fun...
