Howe reported the Hightower injury/surgery in the offseason, and then Volin reported it a month later with no attribution. That's one issue, there are more I believe. Not difficult to find reasons to dislike Volin.

I think we should take it a step further on Volin. People should not post articles OR tweets of his. Stop paying him any attention. He deserves nothing. Wait for Reiss, Kyed, Howe, etc. to have something before you even bother. He's irresponsibly, aggressively wrong all the time.

My wife went to school with Volin's fiance back in the day. Recently we were at a party where she was talking with someone from school who is very close to Volin's fiance when she remembered that I was a big NE sports fan. "Oh, (your husband) must be a big fan of Ben, then!"

My wife does not care or pay attention to about 99% of my sports opinions but on this one she had to hold back laughter and just kind of nod silently.

There was no fire involved in this crash however there was air bag deployment, which to the untrained eye can appear as if the vehicle is enveloped in smoke. The officers on scene did indicate one of the vehicles did have a broken window. The operator of that vehicle did make statements to one officer that a male party “kicked in my window, I think he was a patriot”. This was not entered into the report as this was a standard motor vehicle crash report with no injury. On arrival the individual in question was not on scene and due to the nature of the accident there was no follow up to this information as the identity to an unknown good Samaritan had no bearing on this report. We are attempting to obtain more information at this time and will follow up with another release should we learn more.

Honestly, sounds like a dumb, albeit well-intentioned, mistake on Fleming's part.
