Yeah, I think he'll help because they don't have anything at this point, but not sure if he's a difference maker.
He’ll be a solid possession WR for them. Another guy like Kelce who is teeing up on the 17th hole but who knows how to find openings in defenses.

They're getting a 4th. If that's the market, Bourne wouldn't bring much. Rather just hold him and give Maye another decent target.

He can’t really run anymore, but this is right. Also, what else were they gonna do? With the injury to Rice, their depth chart at WR doesn’t scream reliability, not to mention the fact that Kelce isn’t what he was.

Are we sure Hopkins has that much left? His underlying stats (separation, catch %, etc...) have been lousy this season. Granted, the Titans offense is a mess but how much is scheme going to elevate Hopkins over his current replacement level performance as a 32 year old with regular injuries who hasn't been a top WR in four seasons?

these other teams are crazy kc is losing WR left and right its almost like Tenn wants to do this trade to give kc a 3 peat chance to say ha brady and bill did not 3-peat

They're running JJSS out there, with some decent results. I wouldn't bet against Hopkins being effective.
He had one good game against one of the worst defenses in the league. Is that really predictive?

He was still very good last year, but came into this year hurt. I haven't watched Tennessee's games at all, but statwise seems like Levis has played worse than last year.

I'm sure KC would rather have a healthy Rice, and I don't think this is panic level for those of us anxious for them to lose, but I do expect he'll be a very solid contributor for them as long as he stays reasonably healthy.

I doubt that's a motivation for Tennessee, but the league is chock full of pettiness so anything is possible.

Maybe this belongs in another thread/poll but is anyone in favor/not of making a trade with a team where an ancillary benefit would be to prevent a Chiefs three peat? For example, Jones or Uche to the Ravens? Obviously the only real reason is draft picks and building for the future. I strongly dislike the Ravens but at this point I’d take them winning over the KC crew.

Eh, trade players to whoever gives you the best offer. Sure, if it's close like Ravens/Chiefs then send the player to the Ravens out of spite. But turning down the best offer because you don't like a particular team seems dumb.

Hopkins should be just fine for KC. They've got Worthy to stretch the defense, and you know Mahomes will find guys. I don't think the video game numbers Mahomes put up are back in play or anything like that, but Hopkins is a good pro and has good hands and will make several important catches a game for them. He'll help them a lot.

JuJu literally compiled the same stats in one game this year for KC that took him a season here. His body once again gave out on him, D-hop imo will fit well in KC as long as he can stay on the field it is a great low cost move imo.
