Chayka saying there's no chance he trades OEL.

Exactly what he should say even though everyone knows that isn’t true. EVERY player has a price that they would get traded for, though some guys have a pricetag so high that it makes it a non-starter.

All that quote does is let other teams know it’ll cost a lot. I’ll honestly be surprised if OEL *doesn’t* get traded.

Elsewhere, Claesson has a hearing today for the Acciari hit last night. Guessing the dart lands on 1 game since Acciari appears to have escaped injury.

The dart landed on 2 games.

Saw that during the first intermission of the LA/Vancouver game.

So they traded Subban for Weber to fix the locker room, but near as I can tell, the two people in said locker room that took issue with PK were Therrien and Pacioretty. That both could be gone within a year of each other, and 20 months of the Subban-Weber trade, speaks volumes on Bergevin and should get Geoff Molson on the phone with GM candidates post-haste.

Habs are “actively shopping Max Pacioretty” according to Kypreos/Friedman.

No idea what's going on with him this year, but he's had 30+ goals 5 of the last 6 seasons (with the one non-year scoring 15 goals in 44) - and this year he's on pace for about 17 goals in a full season.

I would love Patches on the Bruins, as this is likely some sort of off season that can probably be corrected - but that's not going to happen for any number of reasons.

Also, the return Montreal’s seeking is a younger goal-scorer, so does Patches for Pastrnak whet anyone’s whistle?
