I don't know shit about computers other than they're supposed to work.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15, 7000 series. It's about a year old and has never had any issues hooking up to my wifi. It was online all day today, until suddenly it wasn't. And I can't get it to connect again. It says no connections are available, but all our other devices are connected just fine.

There is no wireless icon on any of my F keys. The only buttons I can find on the computer are the on/off and the volume.

I have no idea what I did, and i have no idea what to do. Any ideas?

I'm having my own Inspiron 15 5000 Series issue. This one is really weird. When I boot up, it shows I'm connected to my wifi network, lets me connect to my GMail, Facebook, Sons of Sam Horn and to Rotoworld.com. That's it. Every other website I try to connect to, either as a bookmark or typed in manually, I get this DNS error:
This site can’t be reached
whateversiteitry.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

This happened last week and I cleared my cache and ran a virus scan. No virus detected and I shut down, restarted, and everything went back to normal. I went out of town over the weekend and shut the laptop down before I left. When I returned tonight, I turned it on and it is happening again. Except this time, clearing the cache and running a scan didn't do anything.

Any ideas what's going on here?

(9:35 p.m.) Another piece of info: If I click on a bookmark or type in the url, I get the DNS message. If I click a link to the same website out of my gmail account, it takes me right there and lets me navigate as though nothing were wrong.

I am so stumped.

(9:43 p.m.) Now everything is working normal. Is my laptop possessed?
