Is there any level of suspension that you would advise Tom to accept?

BB is back on point. Respecting the other team, preparing for Seattle, proud of his team.

He's role-modeling that for the whole squad for the week.

In response to Mr. Kraft's statement, John Clayton is reporting his league sources have informed him that the NFL has collected evidence that the temperature inside the Patriots' locker room was 71, not 72, as implied by Jake Wesley after hearing Belichick's press conference on Saturday.  Also, video suggests that there are some people in the locker room before the game who, in the surveillance video, appear to be interesting people, which Clayton interprets to be code for persons of interest.

BB going off for minutes at length about the Seattle offense, but nobody in the crowd gives a shit most likely.

BB gets an actual football question and offers up, "excuse me?" I think he actually didn't hear the question, but it made me laugh - as though he was confused by the fact that it was about the Super Bowl and not the other nonsense.

Welcome to Super Bowl week!  Same as every other week, only at least the fashion journos are willing to own it.  Is Florio?
Media day I expect it. The arrival PC? Nah.

And there's Reiss. Thank god.

Fearless prediction:  every media description of this press conference will be "Belichick silent on reporter's questions, refuses to give any answers," along with a soundbite of him refusing to answer those stupid Deflateprate questions, completely ignoring the 5 or 6 minutes of pure football answers he gave.

The union didn't say shit about BOSSES talkin' now did they?

Since the union said players shouldn't talk about the ball stuff, maybe they could end every interview if asked about it, and Goodell couldn't even fine them.

The NFL probably gets a massive discount on legal services in return for the publicity provided by the representation. In fact, many companies are now moving to a lump-sum model where the client pays an agreed-upon amount for a given engagement.  Given what a skinflint Goodell apparently is, there's no chance they are paying full billing rates on this.

By the way, my favorite line of the day is from ProFootballTalk article where they imply that tape showing the ballboy moving the balls from the refs' locker room to "another part of the stadium" is, in and of itself, damning.  How did they expect the balls would get to the field of play?  Levitation?
Given the year he's had, I imagine Rog has a punch card that entitles him to free crisis management services every tenth scandal.
