I hate to say anything remotely nice about Philip Rivers, but they really should have let him throw it more.

Rev, clock re-starts when it's spotted after going OOB, except the last five minutes of each half.

The clock doesn't stop on plays out-of-bounds outside of 2 minutes in the first half and 5 minutes in the second half. As soon as the ball is spotted, the clock runs.

That doesn't include the last drive I think. For reference the Colts ran 65 last night which I read was the 2nd least against the Pats all year with 63 I believe being the least.

Would you go for 2 down by 11? If you get it, you can win with a TD + FG. If you miss, you can always try for 2 on the next TD. Not a huge downside.
Ugh....if SD had decided to open up in the first half, this game may have a much different outlook. Not sure why they waited until the latter part of the second half.

With all of this...I much less afraid of the Patriots playing in Denver than I was a few months ago. Denver is still very beatable, and we look more balanced than earlier. I like out matchup.
