How exactly does someone get the wind knocked out of them when getting hit in the back of the head?

IF that is what happened, why did he not return to a playoff game, leaving things instead to Chad Henne?

He is shitting me or what with that half assed explanation.
"and" could mean both things happened to Mahomes

Reid will get away with nonsensical comments like that (after all why was Mahomes declared out if he is good to go?) because WHO DOESNT LOVE ANDY?

Yeah, he's widely viewed now as some lovable super genius head coach; has nothing to do with having an all world quarterback.

Thanks; I initially read it as he got hit in the back of the head and got the wind knocked out of him, but you are correct in that and could me both things.

Glad to hear Mahomes' girlfriend said he's ok; is she a neurologist?

You’re right. How would Mahomes’ girlfriend know anything about his status or diagnosis without being a neurologist.

Arians is such a waste. Maybe McD will be joining these guys in Tampa next year.

Yes, it's a dangerous sport. But tripping a guy not only is unsportsmanlike, but is also excessively dangerous. That was a leg whip, too.
The immortal Ken Sims ended up snapping his leg when he tried to leg whip somebody.

No matter what, expect a lot of fibbing regarding Mahomes' condition this week.
