I would appreciate any help available in guiding me.  I am attempting to save this video in as high quality as possible:

http://foxct.com/2015/09/08/connecticut-schools-starting-earlier-so-snow-days-dont-extend-the-year-but-heat-waves-mean-more-half-days/

I can't seem to make it happen though, and I've tried a variety of methods I've read about online and extensions for firefox and chrome.

I suspect this is because the video is fragmented into many parts.  Any tips for how I can download it?

Thank you in advance, this is driving me crazy.

Go to Quicktime.  File >> New Screen Recording.

I did one for you but my Macbook is running slow so it stutters and records the stutter.  You should be able to pull it off but if you have a problem doing it, PM me and I'll try again over the weekend if you can't get it.

Thank you.  I figured out something similar late last night with the screencast-o-matic plug in.  Like Quicktime it seems to use the microphone to record the audio coming out of the speakers, which leads to odd sound quality.  But that will do if that's the best solution, I'm glad to have a copy.

It seems like there's no easy way to get a fragmented video via download without using some near impossible programming methods.
