I'm looking to encrypt some dropbox files. Considering Safemonk and Boxcryptor. Anyone using any of these or similar programs? I'm interested in any thoughts or experiences you may have.

Dropbox isn't really meant for this and you can't use Dropbox in the natural manner (as a file system) and actually maintain that security. Safemonk tries to interrupt sync and do some juggling to actually implement itself, and I wouldn't trust that with anything I care about.

Give SpiderOak a few bucks. It actually does what you want. (That goes for pretty much everyone, honestly. Dropbox is nothing special, SpiderOak encrypts on-device and has a similar price model.)

Can I transfer my files currently in Dropbox to SpiderOak? That looks good. Thank you for the recommendation.

Yeah, just drag and drop. 2GB free, too. I use Dropbox for my alarmingly large collection of image macros, but I've been moving my crap to SpiderOak in general.
