CC is now using a bigger brace on the knee that absorbs more of the impact on his landing leg. He says this will allow him to use max effort. For how long, nobody knows until he actually pitches

Yanks are hoping for miracles now, sort of like when Catfish had all the scar tissue twisted out of his shoulder in June 1978 by one of his doctors.

There's a good chance Eovaldi's season is done, Cashman just now:

"It “sounds like” Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) will not be able to return during the regular season, said Cashman. That’s not good. Eovaldi could be in play for the postseason, however. He will be shut down two weeks, then begin a two-week throwing program. The regular season ends three weeks and five days from today."
