Incredible break by Edmundsson and Barnes, finished by Barnes to reclaim the lead for Burnley in the fourth minute of added time against Palace.

Boro's RB De Roon gets on the end of a great cross from LB Friend to level in added time. Looks like Boro will get a draw at Etihad.

Haven't been watching this one but Sunderland went a man down and still beat Bournemouth 2-1

West Ham gave away 2 points at home after being the much much better team. AGAIN. This season is a clusterfuck.

Chelsea really taking it to Everton. They are really limiting Everton's chances and cutting them open pretty regularly too. I think this team might actually be really good.

The Palace - Burnley game was super-entertaining. I would have enjoyed it a bit more if not for the double nut-punch during stoppage time, but for a neutral, it was amazing.

It's looking like Liverpool were fortunate to be scheduled to play Chelsea at the Bridge early in the season. Conte really has them playing well.

This can't be fun for The Special One. Chelsea playing better without him, the Mancs playing worse with him.

Arsenal have a chance to take sole possession of first place, with a win against the Spurs. Which obviously means we will draw.

That's two excellent and dangerous free kicks by Ozil. Second was good enough for the own goal. 1-0 gunners!

Weak, but clear-cut legit. Tripped his ankle, didn't get ball. Really Coq's fault for putting the CBs in that position.
He's holding coq's shirt and bumped into mustafi? (Probably the one that fouled him) he then dropped his shoulder into koscielny as he's already falling down. If anything the foul happened right at the edge of the box. (I realize I'm biased)

If you call that though you have to call xhaka getting his shirt almost pulled off on the header in the first half.

Arsenal looks pretty damn nervy in the last 10 minutes. Ozil, Alexis, Ox all blowing chances to develop something promising.

Fair result, it seems. I thought Arsenal was a touch sloppy, but the opposition wasn't exactly a weak squad.

Can Ox play worse, though? And it's alarming that Ramsey has almost no positive impact at this point. He's not influential in the slightest. When was the last time he put a shot on target from distance? Seems like it's been ages.

Man, that's a penalty 10 times out of 10 right there, while pulling of shirts generally isn't since it's like holding in the NFL.

When is the last time Arsenal actually played well in this fixture, like 4 years ago?

I don't even look forward to these matches now because they're always super trash.

He actually stiff armed Monreal as he's changing direction and starts to lose his balance.

He's falling down and twists and throws his shoulder into koscielny.. I have no idea how he's supposed to defend that. Plus he got ball and part of the ball is on the line at the edge of the box. (I have it stilled right now). Koscielny makes first contact with his left knee while his right foot is on the ball.

IMO That penalty is not given plenty.. and they were supposed to cut down on shirt pulling this year... there were def a few called early in the season.

Main point.. I don't think it's on Koscielny.. he's falling before he gets to him, but I'm not blind that contact is made there.

Liverpool have had nearly a dozen prime chances in the first 25 minutes, still zeroes

edit: As I type that, Mané scores

edit 2: Coutinho!

using the wild card this week and adding Liverpool's top 3 wasn't a bad idea after all

A Liverpudlian tour de force. This team is playing even better than the 2014 version. Just brilliant.

That was fun, and in a season that is shaping up to be so close between a lot of teams, hanging a +5 onto the GD is nice.

It's been meh so far because no team has put it together before this week - even City has not looked at the top of its game - but Chelsea and Liverpool changed that. To my dismay, Chelsea went through Everton like a buzzsaw. They would have beaten anyone on the planet. Hazard, Costa, and Pedro were beasting. Looks like they have figured it out.

Last season it felt like no team in the PL was any good.

This year it feels like theres 5-6 teams that are actually very good and could win the league.

And United still stink. Hah.
