Is it too early for a "Did you know Gerrard cost Liverpool the title last time these teams met" drinking game?

LFC fans have been drinking since waking up in anticipation of those comments from the teevee.

HOLY FUCKBALLS.  I was just writing a post how Can seemed to pop up in spots where a smart player would anticipate the ball three times in the first seven minutes, and then he does that.

Wow - now that's a goal that would NEVER be called correctly if not for goal-line technology

I don't think I've seen that before.  I'm sure it was zonal marking's fault.

I want a pundit to blame man-marking every time a goal is scored against it.

When will we get Le Saux's analysis of Balotelli's body language during the minute's silence?  THIS IS CRITICAL.

I missed the first 8 minutes...what happened first, "Balotelli is lazy" or "I just don't like zonal marking".

John Terry and Mario Balotelli getting into a scrape would be the least shocking thing to happen in this game.

Costa went full cunt on Skrtel there.

Wasn't a fair trip for him to take.

I probably wouldn't shoulder block someone from behind who looks like a Balkan war criminal, but that's just me.

I'm surprised Balotelli didn't disrespect the game for LeSaux in the first 8 minutes.

Sterling got a yellow for getting punched in the face.

Costa is really easy to hate.

For all his other qualities, Hazard's finishing is pretty mediocre.

Rodgers needs to switch things up and find a way to break that Chelsea press. Maybe drop Coutinho deeper into midfield as an outlet? He's the player giving Chelsea the most problems.

Coutinho is having a good game, ran right past Fabregas on that long range shot. Wonder if Jose will move Matic onto him to try and keep him in check.

If it wasn't for two good blocks Hazard would have a goal. Having said that the one the Johnson blocked looked like it was headed right for Mignolet.

I wonder if Ivanovic is going to ask him for tips ahead of Serbia's next match with Albania.

Has anyone ever asked Le Saux about the dentist chair incident?  Dollars to doughnuts he'd say it was just some lads having a laugh.

Well, shit.

Clear hand ball in the penalty box = penalty.  Arm clearly stopped a shot on goal.  That has to be a penalty shot.

For reference, 2004/5 Chelsea had 95.

Southampton-Leicester on NBCSN is great, you just know if it was Fox it would be United-Palace.

Luis Suarez is putting on a passing clinic right now. Three world-class setups for Neymar, Messi, and Jordi Alba in 10 minutes. Hate him all you want, but he might be the most fun player to watch in the world right now.

Just slow and unable to dominate matches all season. The goal looked slightly offside but even with the talent QPR has (I think Vargas is a top 4 player) City can't be chasing the game like this

I believe that means he's in between contracts with boot manufacturers.  Van Persie is doing the same.

I don't know what's more frustrating for me:

1.  The whole "Everybody laugh at Spurs" mentality that pundits and fans alike have or
2.  The fact that they are right.

This is not one those spursy games where they control the game but can't score and get hit on the break. They look awful. Slow, sloppy, no skill, no cohesion, no organization. Lifeless.

Chadli just scored a nice goal...but Carlos Tevez just ripped out Parma's heart.

Off a clearance he tries to gather the ball in his own half.  Fights out of a headlock from one of the Parma players, skins 3 players and slots it in the net.  Unbelievable.  He's the ex-girlfriend that I stalk on Facebook...
