Apparently Aguero was in car accident in Holland tonight and fractured his rib—he’s out for several months.

Mané v. Newcastle and Lukaku v. Palace are awfully tempting picks for Triple Captain this week...

I kind of admire Huddersfield for really coming out to play, but I suppose this is why you don’t do that.

When I see EPL matches like Tottenham vs Huddersfield or Man City vs Crystal Palace I go to FS1 and hope that there are good Bundesliga games going. Because honestly we already know who are going to win the EPL matches.

Arsenal - Brighton tomorrow at the Emirates. Arsenal is completely rested; Brighton has no available strikers (two injuries & Tomer Hemed suspended for stomping on DeAndre Yedlin last week). Things don’t look promising for the Seagulls.

Saw City/Chelsea referred to as El Cashico on Reddit. Seems just about perfect.
This is an old and boring trope at this point- and usually started by fans of clubs who ruled football before big money was a factor. The old guard still can't get over Chelsea crashing their party and god forbid another Manchester side get involved. The Uniteds and Liverpools and Arsenals only won because of the purity of their hearts, not because of any institutional advantages.

I mean, Arsenal made more money than Chelsea last year, and Liverpool was just behind them.

Aguero's accident likely takes away from what would be a tremendous three man race for the Golden Boot between Aguero/Kane/Lukaku.

No clue where that came from. Absolutely no clue how to predict whether good or bad Wednesday show up.

Sorry @Stanley Steamer . I guess it beats 6-0, huh?

This league is bananas. Basically a quarter of the season gone and all I know is that Bolton is garbage. Virtually anything else can happen.

Shelvy pulling the strings for Newcastle today so far. He’s getting acres of space and using it to distribute beautifully. Yedlin looking spry so far.

Mingolet distributing the ball quickly today. Interested to see if how he does with this. It’s the biggest hole in his game.

Edit: Yedlin just made a vital read to cut across from his position to barely nick the ball off Salah’s toe. Otherwise Salah had a clear look at goal.
