Poland making no effort to go forward. As is the case so often in extra time, it's a total drag.
You do it the same like when your teammate / opponent is laying there. That´s what I did and taught. If there´s somebody injured (like a broken bone), which almost never happens, pass the ball out. If there´s somebody (opponent!) screaming like hell, keep playing and let the ref stop the play (he has the right to blow a whistle), but tell kids to always pass it out when a kid screams/cries of course. If there´s someone with a leg cramp, keep playing, if it´s a close game and we want to score. If someone´s laying 50cm next to the sideline, he can hop outside, no matter if he has a cramp, why should I stop the match? If somebody´s injured or bleeding, okay. But the ref has the right to make a call and stop the play, it´s not my decision to pass the ball outside if some teams lay there 5+ times per game.
Of course he can, although it is rare you see a keeper shoot in the first five. It is more common to see a keeper shoot one when PK goes into the extra shots..

Rooting for Poland today, but utter heartbreak for the Swiss. Switzerland were the better side.

That's a terrible job by the ref. Twellman is wrong, no indication of a head injury. Rewarded Wales for staying down after a bad defensive error.
I imagine it's a very difficult spot for a ref with a collision at that speed. It's quite possible to get concussed from that kind of impact without a head contact, as well.
I have more a problem that the rules don't give Northern Ireland a free kick from where they possessed the ball.
If you watch the replay there was no motion to holding the head of the injured players until they realized they weren't stopping play. One of the injured players baited the ref into it, and that sucks.
Apologies since I am guessing this has been answered but what is up with the seafoam green for Portugal?
