I like Austria to give Italy a game, but beating them seems a step too far.

First game is a giant toss-up.

Fans need to be swabbed negative before entering stadium. Computers from test site to stadium are down. Allowing ?some fans in with a wristband or something

Are these not knockout games? How can you have a draw?

Feels like a Spurs game--Rodon, Hojbjerg, Davis, Bale.

Terrible play from Wales, but that really is a horrible missed call

Plus that yellow card earlier, this ref isn't covering himself in glory

Utterly stupid Harry.

It’s a red for intentions, a yellow for execution.

Wales, Scotland, and NI should merge so they don't embarrass the soccer homeland any more.

Locatelli dropped for Verratti. Not the swap I would have made, but I am far less handsome than Mancini.

Italy is a good team, why do they dive and cry to ref so much? I mean, have some self respect.

I still remember the training ground video in the late 90's showing the Italian players practicing diving onto mattresses.

My wife doesn’t watch much soccer, but is interested because she is part Italian. Unfortunately, she just dropped ‘they act like they’re shot every two minutes, give me a fucking break.’

As a CB I have always appreciated Italy’s defensive prowess. These scoreless streaks are impressive.
Cannavaro was a personal favorite in my younger days.

A defensively stout Italian team with good attacking tendencies is pretty dangerous. Not just let Pirlo play a ball to Del Piero or Inghazi and see what happens.

edit - the diving posts were made while i type. This was independent of that. I agree with the diving concerns. They arent alone tho
