Yeah, we can't make everything safer so we shouldn't try to make anything safer.
Eat at Arby's.
Well, Arby’s does offer a roast turkey salad, smaller sandwich size options, and a no thrills classic roast beef sandwich.

Terribly sad story, and I understand your disgust, but unless you keep your child in bubble wrap, you can’t protect them from everything.

taking your child to a MLB game, the drive to/from is likely more dangerous than the game itself
Fair enough, and I've calmed down a bit. Once netting is installed from foul pole to foul pole I'll start bringing my kids to games.

Just curious how old are your kids? I think there is a difference if they are truly vulnerable like less than ten or teenagers ? I would not sit in certain seats if I brought a baby or child to a game but I might if my kids were teenagers.
