5-20-1 in their last 26 games. Tonight might have been the dagger, considering that Price is still at least a couple of weeks away.

One can hope.

I just don't know how a team that considers themselves a playoff contender could blow a 3rd period lead against the Sabres and end up losing by multiple goals....

Wait a second....

Winnipeg's adding to the collective Canadian dumpster fire. Hellebuyck gave up 3 before the first TV timeout, and Hutchinson gave up another one before the second one.

Not an NHL game, but I went to a Serie A Italian game tonight and Tom Barrasso was ejected for throwing a water bottle at the officials after a call against his team (Valpellice). He refused to leave for a bit and then finally did after getting his team penalized for refusing to leave.

That's awesome. Nuts that he's still playing at any professional level at age 50... it isn't on his HockeyDB, but according to his Italian wiki he's player-coach

Just saw that.... I wish he didn't play for Buffalo, because I am going to hate watching the Bruins play against him for the next decade.

I hate diving. I have a visceral reaction to it when I see it. It makes me angry. When Marchand dives, it pisses me off. When Chara dives, I feel shame. That dive is so awesome that all I can do is smile.

It's one of the reasons I don't watch soccer.

At least he fesses up to it:
"Apologizing for my actions tonight, the game should never be taken advantage of like that," Blandisi wrote on Twitter, according to Northjersey.com.

Habs lead the Leafs 4-1 late in the 3rd. Bell Centre crowd starts up the "Nah Nah Nah Nah Hey Hey Goodbye" thing, which is stupid considering both teams are likely missing the playoffs.

While we're here, a small nitpick for the schedule makers: the Canadiens are done with both the Bruins and Maple Leafs for the season with 6 weeks to go. I know only having 4-5 divisional games a season makes it hard to do, but how can Montreal not see either of those teams after the trade deadline?
