Surprised at the lack of talk about this year's Final Four. Is it because of all the newcomers?

I could totally see Gonzaga blowing its chance at a title when it is right there in front of them. I think the Oregon-UNC game could be an instant classic.

Go Zags. And go Heels.

Gonzaga has had the heavens absolutely open up for them, seems to happen for one team every year. They are playing a Round of 32 matchup in the Final Four!

Duke, Baylor, and Florida are probably grateful to have been given a chance to play SC.

Be wary of the teams that need 3-pt shooting as a big part of their game tonight. The stadium games tend to force teams to shoot poorly from the field.
Is that just a general statement or were you talking about one of the teams specifically? I haven't watched a ton of college hoops this year, so I'm only familiar with the Zags. Anyway, here is the season totals for the four teams:

UNC 271-750 for 36 percent
Oregon 327-854 for 38 percent
USC 241-715 for 33 percent
Gonzaga 269-711 for 37 percent

Looks like Oregon is the most susceptible to a cold shooting night.

Also that anthem with the four women, 3 of them around average height and one who was about six six. She towered above.

Watching the game with the same folks I watched the run with 19 years ago. Life is good

Nigel Williams-Goss looks great. Fantastic at hanging in the air and hitting those mid-range jumpers. And Zach Collins is balling.

Just a general statement. The stadium doesn't provide the same shooting background as regular arenas. It has given teams problems in the past.

Not bothering Gonzaga in the least. 5-9 from 3 so far.

That foul by Gonzaga's Perkins to start the half drives me nuts. Why pick up your third on a breakaway layup attempt 30 seconds into the half?

Thornwell isn't right. He's not just missing his shots, they are 8 inches or more too short almost everytime.

SC gave it their all to come back. They will probably run out of gas, especially because Thornwell is basically playing as a decoy right now.
