Anyone hearing these Demaryius Thomas rumors? Wont share them here but really hope they are not true??
I mean, if it's something that's gonna be out there, might as well share it.Anyone hearing these Demaryius Thomas rumors? Wont share them here but really hope they are not true??
i debated posting that or not because it’s a rumor. Ben Allbright investigating but it appears a family member or someone whose fake account is imitating a family member might have originally posted it.Anyone hearing these Demaryius Thomas rumors? There is a rumor he passed away. No one reputable has confirmed itI mean, if it's something that's gonna be out there, might as well share it.
That’s a very vague cause of death. I assume that when the sun rises, there will be more information and the heartbreaking responses from former teammates and the Broncos. 33 is way too young for a pro athlete to pass away.In a shocking news, former Pat Demaryius Thomas has passed away.

No other information so far other than the cause of death being a medical one.
Saw earlier on Reddit (I know)... speculating that he had a seizure while in the shower. So many different things in a bathroom he could have hit his head on that could easily be fatal.
He was in the 2010 draft, taken I think with the pick originally owned by the Pats. So many guys from that draft still playing-Devin McCourty, Gronk, Joe Haden, Gerald McCoy....He was such a physical specimen, was the last guy I'd expect to pass so young.Terrible news. Was anyone else as shocked as me he was only 33 years old?
We cut him then resigned him and then traded him to the Jets for a 6th round pick.I thought Demaryius looked outstanding in the preseason games with New England, and was excited to see what he could do with Brady and this offense. I was thoroughly bummed when he got cut, and subsequently signed with the Jets. If I remember correctly, it was the Antonio Brown signing that forced a roster crunch that led to his departure. I hated the Brown signing at the time, and wished they had just rode with Thomas. From all accounts, he was a true gentleman. Rest in peace.

Thomas was on the active/PUP at the start of training camp, and IIRC he had limited playing time in preseason as a result. The team had Edelman, Josh Gordon, Dorsett on the roster as returning vets, drafted Harry, and Jacobi Myers made the team after an impressive training camp. Thomas was injured, so he was cut to allow the team to keep Harry on the roster so N'Keal could be placed on returnable IR after the roster cutdown deadline. Thomas was resigned, then they signed Antonio Brown, and so Bill did him a solid and worked out a trade, even if it was to the Jets. It was unfortunate, especially knowing how things ended up playing out, but he really did not have much left in the tank either by that point, and ended the season injured. We cut him then resigned him and then traded him to the Jets for a 6th round pick.
This sent me down a rabbit hole. We traded the pick (22) to Denver for 24 and a 4th (113).We cut him then resigned him and then traded him to the Jets for a 6th round pick.
I looked to see if the accident made the news, He rolled a car going 70mph, and got a head injury, although from what I could find it was just “minor injuries”.That car accident must have been quite serious. RIP.
RIP to Demaryius. This was a great run -- and so great that his eternal epitaph involved Angry Mike Tomlin Face.He accomplished many things in his career, but this play will likely be his eternal epitaph
RIP
