I've mentioned before around this forum that I have started up a hockey based small business called the Penalty Box that does monthly hockey subscription boxes and online deal sales. Well its been growing, and quickly. As part of that business and as a way to give back to the hockey community we have also established a 501(c)(3) called the PenaltyBox Foundation that supports hockey related causes and defray the cost of playing this great game for family in need.

Well tonight is our big inaugural gala down at the Marriott Long Wharf, and we are expecting around 250 people to come join us for a cocktail hour, dinner, band, auction and hanging out with some Bruins Alum. Well we just had 2 tables drop out last minute so I wanted to offer up the tickets free to this community. The passion for hockey here is amazing, and this site has given me so much I would love to be able to give back to it in a small way. I know its last minute but if you want to attend please shoot me a DM and ill confirm and get you on the guest list, I'll be checking until about 6. Cocktail hour is at 7 with dinner to follow. It's suit and tie obviously and if you come and like something at the auction please bid to help a good cause.

Who's going to be here? Travis Roy is giving the keynote, and Barry Pederson, Rick Middleton, Dave Jensen. We might get a stop-by from Brick. As well as a bunch of industry guys from the hockey community.

Edit - This is not limited to denizens of the pornstache either, anyone sosh related is welcome with their dates/wives/husbands as well.
Double Edit - If anyone can't make it and wants to be part of the online auction here's the link
PB Gala Online Auction

Edit 3 Closing it down, thanks to all who put in an auction bid!

Holy crap thats an awesome thing, if I wasn't tied up from work I'd be there. Please let me know next year when it's scheduled!
