That's the worst. I work in Healthcare IT, so we also get the pleasure of dragging clinical staff into this century (many of whom still don't understand why we can't just use paper charts anymore).
I work for county government handling criminal justice systems. My department handles everything after court that isn't prison (parole, post-prison reform, diversionary). The specs for my next project are literally being written (in part) by the protestors in the streets. Its this weird feeling seeing the protests and internally saying "I can't wait to do what you want me to".

In my year working in medical software, I literally spent 1/3 of my time fighting the egos of doctors and hospital administrators. The protestors on the streets currently are easier to understand/communicate with than them.

Only 1/3?

I'm lucky that many of our clinical staff are awesome people. Young or old, there's a lot of forward-thinking folks. But sadly they're just beaten down by the troglodytes that see technology as a hindrance at every single turn.

They are, and unfortunately that's not going to change any time in the near future, as CMS and private payors see all that can be done with them and make more and more and more demands before they make payments. "Oh, you can integrate clinical decision making tools? Now that's required for MRIs! You can also do them for basic lab tests? Required!"
Ugh, I'm glad I decided to have a beer with the start of this game. Sounds horrible. If I need to justify why I'm ordering a standard PSA screen for a 60 yo man I may lose my mind.

About as bad as the Bruins PP right now

Oh god this. When we moved all of our safety/animal/irb protocols online there was soooo much bitching about everything without thinking about how nice it was going to be. Anyway.

unreal. Carry play then give up the first goal. Typical.

Here
It was a clever shot, anticipating the goalie’s shift. Still should be saved by your elite goaltender, however.

I'll happily give up sub 5% shots which is what that was
With the rest of his teammates changing? If they pressure Foegele, they either win the puck back, or he has to dump it deep and they can breakout.

Edmundson's shot is from a good scoring area but I'm assuming here you mean if Foegele were to shoot from just inside the right point

But why do you need to give up any shot there, if Coyle pressures, whats his move? It's almost assuredly not delay to set up a drop pass to a sea of trailing Canes.

You pressure, maybe he wrings it around the wall maybe he board plays, allowing him an eternity on the halfwall just allows a chance <5% or not where there easily could be none. Too passive in a situation with plenty of players back. Not as if Coyle had no help and was just playing not to get coned.

Sorry yes - I'm happy to let someone take a bad shot. Letting the puck get to Edmunson is pathetic of course.
