Welp, they’re not gonna lie down. Bruins played like ass and were still in this. Forwards need to play much much better on Saturday.
Just a terrible all around performance by everyone outside of Tuukka. We didn’t even deserve to be in overtime.
Blues really brought it with physicality. At times over the line and the Bruins PP didn’t punish them for their aggression. Two completely different games, Bruins looked outclassed most of this one.
Team has bounced back from adversity every time they’ve faced it. They dominated Game 1 and got Dominated in Game 2. Game 3 is up for grabs.
They didn't call a Blues trip, and then call the Bs for it and the extra guy on the ice gets the assist... that sucks.
I can't believe how much blatant interference and goonery the refs let the Blues get away with tonight. Tough to play when you can't skate.
Grz’s injury is really felt with the zone entry and exits. Bruins were absolutely brutal tonight.
One way to look at it is The Bruins can’t play much worse & the Blues still needed OT to win.
But for two bad plays, Rask would have shut them out in regulation, despite the worst performance of the top line’s season.
Bruins needed to finish hits. If the refs are only going to call two for sending a guy to the hospital with a hit in the head from behind, and the other team runs your goalie twice, get your money’s worth.
4th line was great, esp Nordy and Kuraly. They are now being tasked with shutting down STL only offensive line. Top line is trash through 2 games. Giving up the most goals, ineffective on PP and zero on offense. Hard to fathom how bad they've played.

I don't know what is going on with the top line but they were absolutely atrocious tonight in every area of the ice. What a disappointing loss.
First line at the very least needs to be holding serve when they’re on the ice instead of Marchand and Pasta being fucking turnover machines. Not even putting in good shifts, it’s miserable. Just no jump in their step.

8-1 in the last 9 games and the only loss was in OT despite one of the worst games I’ve seen from the top line, a PP that struggled significantly and being undermanned on defense for most of the game.
Just need to take 1 out of 2 in STL, which seems very possible.

Just never got the run of strong play they’ve put out late in basically every game for the last month. Sometimes you have a dud I guess. This team certainly doesn’t fear going on the road, and maybe the ice in St Louis will be better for Marchand to get something going.

The Blues outplayed them but didn’t really have a bunch of good chances until late in the 3rd. Most things were from the outside. If they play like this again they’re fucked but they also played like this and almost won.
Also the crowd sucked. As did the person behind me who told me to sit down at the start of OT when there were 10 people standing in front of me and the puck was in the offensive zone.
That crowd was truly a collection of rich sacks of garbage. If you never go to B’s games, shell out to get into a box you low energy bums
