The D that reasonably consistently gets his pucks on net is Reilly... I'll be honest, I don't understand him sitting.

Start Swayman in 3rd to rest Ullmark?
For the offseason? Sway deservedly or not will be starting game 3. Normally I'd say get him some work but CAR might put 4 by him the way this game is going. Best to let Ullmark take the lumps and let Sway get a clean shot at home.

What is it about this matchup that’s just such a horrific matchup for Boston?
Speed. And they’re defenseman and good at clearing pucks and keeping forwards to the outside. And the Bruins don’t have a lot of guys that are good at getting inside and finishing.

Ullmark has allowed 8 goals on 46 shots. Don’t care where they came from, that is unacceptable. Ullmark finishes this one, Swayman starts Friday.

They're bigger, faster, deeper, and better coached.
Plus they hired a good player development staff and went to the bottom of the league for 5 years. That’s what you need to do sometimes. It’s easy to do that in a market like theirs. Most Boston fans won’t tolerate that.

It's a good thing the bottom 4 teams in the division are really awful, otherwise the playoff streak probably would have ended.

Forget the refs I just dont understand everytime a Bruin takes a headshot the other team gets nothing or the Bruins are shorthanded. By my view he got hit square on the chin.

I get what you are all saying but they only won a few more games this season than Boston did. But they seem SOOOO much better. Like... not even close.

Soooooo, they don’t emphasize speed, but they’re not big enough to play a heavy game, right? Tack on the fact that their (maybe) Hall-of-Fame goalie broke down, and I gotta ask…

Great point.
