If they had scored after that obvious too many men my TV would have been in jeopardy.

What a gritty win. Surviving that first period was unbelievable.

Hope Wagner is ok.

Between here and everywhere.
Tuukka Rask didn't steal this game.

He played incredible, but the Bruins won this 3-1 with a major disparity in the calls going the other way.

The Bruins thoroughly beat Carolina. As a team.

I hope they didn't lose Wagner on that block, it would really suck to lose his size and the heaviness of the 4th line.

This is where I'm at. Nothing different tonight except Carolina getting a ton of help from the officiating. The Bruins are better in all aspects of the game.

What a wild no-call with the guy playing the puck as he’s about to change off.

Once again they pretty much put this game in a bear hug in the third. Some chances here and there but they just worked like they have been.

They stole the first ten minutes probably but after that I don’t feel like it was the great onslaught that the announcers wanted to make it at times.

Brookline
5x5 TOI
Kuraly line: 8:24
Coyle line: 7:28
Bergeron line: 7:13
Krejci line: 7:01

Carolina just doesn’t have the depth to keep up with the Bruins.

I’d have to go back and look when it was, but late in the final period, the Bruins third was out against, I think, Carolina’s second. Bruins dump in the puck and Carolina is just skating through peanut butter in their own zone. Couldn’t even chase down the dump in. Heinen was just skating around behind the net after being the one dumping it in. Carolina was gassed.

Kuraly has played every second like he’s been shot out of a cannon. Putting together an incredible postseason.

Wagner news sucks. He finally seemed fully recovered from his groin injury that impacted him during the end of the regular season and into the Toronto and Columbus series.

Bruce said Acciari was cleared today and sitting out as a healthy scratch. He’ll go in for Wagner.

I managed to catch the third from an Outback by the hotel where I’m staying tonight. I’m delighted by the win and how the team is playing.

The calling hours were tough. But the outpouring of love for my mom meant a whole lot.

At least Thursday this will all be over and I can just enjoy the game.

Go Bruins.

Glad to hear you were able to hear the love and support of others in this awful time. Makes this a bit more bearable. Just glad the B's are able to give you a couple hours of joy.

This game is the counter when people complain about officiating costing a team. Virtù and Fortuna, and this team is virtuous.

While in general you’re right, he absolutely flat out stole the first period.

Carolina had 2.49 expected goals in the first period which is a huge number for a single period. Insane performance by Rask.

I'm not sure- is he standing on his head yet?

What's amazing is how he's making it look rather easy. He's so settled and he's put himself in great positions all playoffs... always square to the puck with no flailing. He's made some spectacular saves, but he's made them look fairly routine. Only shots that have gone in have been deflections pretty much.
