I first want the Bruins to win every game but failing that I truly hope the worst teams in the worst markets make the Finals every year for this shit league. Coyotes, etc.

They could have called DeAngelo to even it out for his after the whistle stuff before they reviewed... but nope... Bruins go down a man for no penalty

Maybe call someone for attacking Marchand after the period ends Ref... instead of just yelling ineffectually at the Canes player...

The penalty on Clifton was a patently obvious game management call. The called a major because the guy was bleeding profusely, and so they could watch the replay. Everyone was heated and even though the replay showed that hit was clean and the guy was bleeding because of his mask and/or the glass, they call a roughing to try to calm down the Canes.

Brilliant stuff. I hate this league.

Bissonnette is calling out the league right now. Bless 'im.

Edit: about the major review for Clifton's hit (when one wasn't warranted) and then they felt compelled to call something that wasn't there.

Biz just stated that once they called it a major, so they could review it, they couldn't wipe it off the board totally. Which,.. makes no sense (the rule, not what was said).

Hard to believe it’s the same league that didn’t suspend Chara for the Pacioretty hit. In the current state of things where everything is just about vibes who knows how long Z would be pegged for such a hit now.

The refs should be compelled to invoke a review on any play where a player gets injured. I like that (as long as there's an option to not assess a penalty). Again, maybe take a look at Svechnikov's hit on Lindholm...

Yes, I'm glad the network (not Jack & Brick) at least allowed him to express the fact the mechanism of trying to "get the call right" punished the player in a non-call situation. Now the on ice refs may have felt it WAS a call... but if they were stuck, it did suck. And the other guy as they went to break was commenting on the high number of controversial calls. If the on-air talent starts calling out the league, maybe they listen... neah.

No doubt that would've been double digits. The best part is I drove from Montreal to Cape Breton, listening to NHL Radio, and to a man, every former player that was on that day said it wasn't a suspension at all.

Jesus, that's a haul. Must have been a great drive, though.
