Between here and everywhere.
The door is wide open for the Bruins to make a long run in the playoffs this year.

To me, Toronto is the biggest threat the Bruins would face until the SCF. They match up well against Columbus, and the Islanders (I don't see WSH getting past them). But Toronto's team speed, and Andersen standing on his head can beat them.

Getting past Toronto starts tonight, I hope the Bruins don't waste this opportunity.

Andy Brickley's potty mouth
I'm going to be back in Columbus coincidentally from 4/27-5/4, which happens to line up perfectly with round 2. I lived in Columbus for 13 years wishing the Bruins and Jackets would meet in the playoffs and can potentially luck out on them meeting this year when I'm randomly back in town. Get it done Bruins.

Do it for FL4WL3SS! Do it for Neely the Cat!

Heck, we won one for a Honda Civic. A cat named Neely? Unstoppable.

Thanks, guys. I think it's harder when you have kids and it totally crushes them, so you get double crushed. First time experiencing that, not so fun. Need some Ws to help. They got this.

edit: Sorry I don't know why that is giant and don't know how to fix.

Tony, that does blow. My cats didn’t live nearly that long...cold comfort but at least you got a good long run.

Wit if for Neely and Tony’s kids, indeed.

Sorry to here that Tony. We have three cats and a dog that are all getting up there and I’m dreading it.

I've been around here a while now, but I don't think I ever got the backstory on Protect the Civic - anyone care to enlighten me?

Sorry to hear that Tony.
One of my cats is now 16 and I've had him since he was 10 weeks old.
I know he is much, much closer to the end than the beginning and I dread when that day comes.

Win it for Neely!!!

There once was a civic in a city
Cold, full of French,
and the weather was shitty
In the cup run of 11
It needed protection
And that phrase was quite witty.

PSK went to college in Montreal in 2011. Had a Honda Civic that was parked on the street with Bruins stuff on it. He said in the game thread before game 7 that after they win, he’s going down the street with a six pack and a lawn chair to protect the civic. It became the RMPS anthem for the playoff run.

This just made me realize I've been a member here for over 11 years. Yikes.

Over 13 years for me. They never should have offered that poker membership promotion. That's how I got in.
For every shitty post I make, blame URI. He let me in at a moment of weakness when I PMed him.

Read that Mojo in for Kuhlman tonight.
Not what I was hoping for.
The 2nd line hasn't been the problem, why break them up?

Cassidy said Kuhlman wasn’t feeling well. Probably wants to prevent a full team outbreak.

My conspiracy theory, he’s going to swap Johansson and Pastrnak after a shift or two and doesn’t like Kuhlman with the top line. That way they’re only switching two guys instead of three if they were to move Heinen to line 1, Kuhlman to 3, and Pastrnak to 2.

My tires were slashed after game 3 as well, which is why I went to go protect it

I got in during the summer of 06 bump...had lurked for a few years. @Smiling Joe Hesketh opened the door for me. About three days after I got in I made a drunken game-thready main page post and URI hit me with a warning point or some shit and told me I wasn’t long for this place if I kept that up.

I've been here long enough that I named the g-d Bruins forum the Pr0n Stache.

I know essentially nothing about hockey strategy (in contrast to baseball, etc.) so the viewing experience for me now is the same as it was back during the WSBK/mini-1-on-1 between-period days: I make anguished noises and occasionally shout "SHOOT" or "PINCH" at what are probably non-optimal times to shoot or pinch. It's sort of fun to have no idea what's going on. It's like shouting at a roulette wheel.

Awesome story on the Civic. I remember Protect the Civic from later in that run, didn’t realize it came from game 7 vs Les Habs.

I signed up in summer 2005 and became a full member in September 2007 after the Sox broke 90 wins and PN23 got booted.

Neely is now in a place where there is an infinite sweet cream spring, the sun always shines through the windows for an optimal warm spot on the floor, and the mice are all a step too slow. May he enjoy cat heaven.

Time to treat the Maple Leafs the way a cat treats a wounded mouse.

Hey me too! Lurked for a long time and membership in 2013, I wasn't smart enough.

Is Neely on the Civic the new Bearataur?

And sorry for your loss @tonyandpals . Hope the kids are okay
